What is the wedding cake process? We have broken this down into 6 steps: 1. You decide what flavour (cake tasters can be organised), fillings and how many cake tiers you want (if you need help with calculating how many tiers you would need per the amount of people attending, we can help). 2. You decide on what extras you would like on the cake, i.e. flowers, cake topper. 3. For guidance you will send us some pictures to help better describe what you want. 4. A phone consultation will take place to discuss the finer details of the cake and costings. A quote is drawn up and you will, (if accepted) pay the non-refundable deposit of 50%. 5. We will be in constant communication with you should you need reassurance or should we need further detail 6. The remaining 50% will then be paid 14 prior to delivery or collection.
-
Could I pay just for setting up the cake, not delivery? No, you will be charged the same amount you would of paid if the cake was delivered and set up.
-
Could I still collect my cake if I have 4+ tiers?Yes, we advise everyone to think long and hard about this as 4+ tiers are very heavy, the tiers could be separated for travel but if you choose to collect, we will NOT attend the event to set up the cake, this will be your responsibility.
-
When will my cake be delivered?Delivery is usually 1-2 hours before the event.
-
Could I have a taster session to decide which cake I want?Yes, however, please note that taster sessions come at a cost of £20 and will need to be paid up front. Please contact us via email to book this appointment. If the invoice isn't paid within 24 hours, the request will be cancelled.
-
Where do cake tasters take place?Cake tasters can be in a place of your choosing, your home for instances. Please note that this address is required to be within 5 miles of W7.
-
How many people can I invite to the cake tasting?Cake tasting will only be for the bride and groom, therefore no one else should be in attendance.
-
How long do I have to choose a flavour after a cake tasting? We would prefer the flavour to be chosen within the cake tasting session however, we understand what a big decision this is, so you have 48 hours of having the cake tasting to advise us. After this an over the phone consultation will be booked to discuss the following options and the wedding contract will be signed.
-
What is a wedding contract?A wedding contract is a binding document in additional to our Terms and Conditions.
